week 1 of Studio

i got my first version of PCB last friday, and we did the first playtesting during the studio class.

here’s some feedback from my classmates:

this is intuitive to me
me: why do you pick the bottom knobs? - oh i’m just playing around
me: did you notice the screen? - yes i did, but i don’t know what to do with it.
oh this led is broken?
the software (oscistudio) is really overwhelming
I didn’t relate the bank encoder to the screen, i think it would make more sense to add the bank encoder in the middle of the screen to match the layout

what I learned:

the exsistance of LiSsA is valid - because my goal is to make the overwhelming software less stressful and more fun to play.
But there’s an issue with the laptop screen & the display on LiSsA - People will forget to look at the tiny screen, and pay more attention on the actual screen.
